Magnus Eriksson

Magnus Eriksson, CFO at Höganäs, has over fifteen years of experience in finance and accounting. Magnus began their career as a Business and Financial Control Manager for Sandvik Mining and Construction. In this role, they were responsible for business and financial control of a global business with over 100 reporting entities. Magnus then became Product Area Business Controller for Sandvik Construction / Rock Processing. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis for the product area.

In April 2007, Eriksson became CFO / Vice President Finance and IT for SANDVIK HARD MATERIALS. In this role, they were responsible for financial reporting and control, business control, mergers and acquisitions, and IT and business support. Magnus left this position in July 2013 to become Vice President Finance, IT and Pricing for Sandvik Hyperion. In this role, they were responsible for leading a global functionally organized finance, IT and Pricing organisation. Magnus merged two global divisions, established and implemented a new strategy and structure. Magnus also significantly improved performance and cash generation, harmonized IT systems, and developed pricing processes, systems and tools. Magnus left this position in August 2018 to become CFO at Höganäs.

Magnus Eriksson has a degree in Business Administration from Lund University and has completed the TIO International Executive Programme and Business Performance Diploma Programme at IFL/Stockholm School of Economics. Magnus is currently working in the field of finance and operational management.

They are on a team with Shashi Shukla - President, EMEA, Kennet Almkvist - President, Customization Technologies, and Therese Jönmark - SVP, Human Resources & Communications. Magnus Eriksson reports to Fredrik Emilson, Group President & CEO.
