Erna Hooghiemstra

Erna Hooghiemstra currently holds the position of Lid raad van toezicht at Koninklijke Auris Groep since May 2025 and serves as Ontwikkelaar Master Transitie naar Gezondheid en Welzijn along with Lector Sociale Innovatie at Hogeschool Rotterdam since August 2021. In addition, Hooghiemstra is the Voorzitter raad van toezicht at SSOE since April 2017 and a member of the raad van toezicht at Surplus and the Wetenschappelijke Board at Platform31. Previous roles include membership in the Programma Commissie Sprong-Educatief and the commissie Raak-publiek at the Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek SIA, and participation in various committees at RIVM and ZonMw. Hooghiemstra is also a zelfstandig ondernemer at Hooghiemstra Onderzoek & Advies and served as a procesbegeleider at the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport. Hooghiemstra obtained a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a Drs in social geography from the same institution.
