Gertruud Bartels

Gertruud Bartels is an experienced professional with a robust background in human resources, coaching, and social services. Since January 1993, Gertruud has held various roles at Hogeschool Rotterdam, including Vertrouwenspersoon Ongewenst Gedrag, where responsibilities involve supporting and guiding reports of discrimination and violence, as well as advising leadership on preventive and corrective policies. As a loopbaancoach/begeleider, Gertruud focuses on empowering employees to harness their strengths and develop personal leadership in their careers. In previous roles, Gertruud has served as an P&O-adviseur, providing management advice on personnel policy and developing P&O strategies, and as Directieassistent at the Faculty of Welfare, Labour, and Health, where support was provided to the faculty’s leadership. Prior experience includes serving as Districtschef Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid for the Municipality of Rotterdam, managing teams and overseeing community welfare programs, as well as earlier positions in financial administration. Gertruud holds a doctoraal degree in Psychology from Leiden University.
