Joyce van der Klugt

Joyce van der Klugt currently serves as the Chief Privacy Officer at Hogeschool Rotterdam since April 2023. Previously, Joyce held the position of Privacy Officer at Hogeschool Leiden from August 2020 to April 2023. Joyce's extensive experience at EDR Credit Services from November 2005 to July 2020 included various roles such as Functionaris voor gegevensbescherming and Bedrijfsjurist, with a focus on privacy compliance, team leadership, and legal management. Joyce's responsibilities encompassed developing privacy policies, implementing the General Data Protection Regulation, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, and executing both internal and external audits. Joyce holds a master's degree in civil law from the University of Amsterdam and a bachelor's degree in civil law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, alongside a CIPPE certification from IAPP.
