Marcel Langeveld

Marcel Langeveld is a seasoned sustainability advisor with extensive experience in environmental management and energy policy development. Currently serving as Adviseur Duurzaamheid and programmamanager Verduurzaming Vastgoed at Hogeschool Rotterdam since November 2019, Marcel focuses on the sustainable enhancement of the institution's real estate portfolio and has authored the energy policy guiding these efforts. Prior roles include Teamleider Duurzaamheid at Omgevingsdienst Midden-Holland, where leadership spanned a growing team dedicated to regional sustainability initiatives, and senior advisory positions at various organizations, including BuildDesk and Rijkswaterstaat, where Marcel worked on energy neutrality pathways and offshore wind energy strategies. Marcel holds a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Technical Physics from Delft University of Technology.
