Petra Verwijs

Petra Verwijs is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in strategic and operational communication. Currently serving as a Senior Communicatieadviseur and Kerndocent Communicatie at Hogeschool Rotterdam since December 2021, Petra develops and implements communication plans that enhance the positioning of educational programs within the institute. Previously, at Houweling Group, Petra advised on marketing and communication, optimizing internal and external communication while establishing and leading the works council. Earlier roles include communicatiemedewerker at Sonneveld Group B.V., focusing on content creation and media relations, as well as online marketing consultant at de Werkende Website, where Petra developed digital marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include a Post Master in Communicatieadviseur from SRM and a Bachelor’s degree in communication from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
