Daniel van Den Buuse

Daniel van den Buuse is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor and Program Lead in the Business & Economics Section at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since January 2012. In addition to roles as a Senior Researcher and Lecturer within the same section, Daniel has been involved with the World Economic Forum as an Expert Network Member focused on Sustainability & Innovation since January 2020. Daniel's research background includes significant contributions as an Affiliated Researcher and PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam Business School from January 2011 to December 2021. Early career experiences include commercial positions at Suitsupply and Ogilvy. Daniel holds a PhD in Business & Economics from the University of Amsterdam (2018) and a cum laude MSc in Business & Economics from the same institution (2009), augmented by a semester of study in Management & Leadership at UCLA in 2008.
