Frederik Rutgers

Frederik Rutgers currently holds the position of Head of Marketing & Communications at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, overseeing the Faculty of Business and Economics since October 2023. Prior to this role, Frederik spent six years at Makro Nederland, progressing through various positions including Marketing Manager and Sr. Content & Thema Manager. Earlier experience includes working as a Marketing Communication Coordinator at VIM Group, an organization focused on strategic brand implementation, as well as leading brand ambassador initiatives for Marie-Stella-Maris in the North Netherlands. Frederik holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen.
