Marije Ten Brink

Marije ten Brink is an accomplished academic and designer with extensive experience in higher education and design practice. With a career spanning from 1992 to the present, Marije currently serves as an initiator, coordinator, and lecturer in the minor program 'Creative Research' at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where the focus is on qualitative and innovative research methods for third-year bachelor students. Additionally, Marije has held roles as a lecturer in Design and Design Research and as the Director of New Curriculum, developing a comprehensive educational framework for CMD. Previous experience includes being a PhD researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, with a thesis focused on supporting reflexivity in design education, and owning Brinka – Design Studio, where Marije created highly interactive digital solutions for various sectors. The educational background includes a PhD in Design, HCI, and Education, alongside a Master's in Human Centered Multimedia and a Bachelor in Graphic Design.
