Francis Mutisya

Francis Mutisya has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technical support. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Support Intern at MEDISEL KENYA LIMITED for two months. Following that, in 2018, they joined SharaSolutions as a Software Engineer, where they worked until November. In the same year, they also started working at eKRAAL Innovation Hub as a Security Software Engineer, a role they held until March 2022. In 2022, Francis joined Hohm Energy as a Software Engineer and is currently working there.

Francis Mutisya completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Multimedia University of Kenya, from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they also obtained certifications in various fields, including CompTIA A+ 902, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, Cryptography, Fundamental Linux Administration, Fundamental System Troubleshooting, ITIL Foundations, Security Architecture Fundamentals, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+, all from Cybrary. Francis also received certifications from IBM, including Cloud Application Developer 2018 - Explorer Award for Students, Cloud Application Developer 2018 - Mastery Award for Students, Git, and Java. Additionally, they completed the JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures Certification and the Front End Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2016, they obtained the Application Security Analyst - Explorer Award for Students from IBM. In 2018, Francis also participated in the National Cyber Security Training Programme at eKRAAL Innovation Hub. Lastly, they hold a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, with no specified end year. In September 2021, they obtained the Mobile AppSec 101 certification from NowSecure.
