Anniina Korpela

Anniina Korpela has extensive experience in communication and journalism. Anniina is currently the Head of Communications at HOK-Elanto since December 2020. Previously, they worked as a Communications Manager at Gigantti Oy from 2016 to 2020. Anniina also served as a Community Manager at Elkjop Nordic AS in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications Manager at Gigantti Oy from 2014 to 2015. Anniina also has experience as a Content Publisher for Elkjøp Content - E-commerce - Master Product Group, where they were responsible for content production and publishing for various Finnish platforms. Before starting their career in communications, they worked as a freelance journalist and had roles at MTV Oy, Yle, and Ilta-Sanomat, where they gained experience in television and radio news reporting as well as online reporting.

Anniina Korpela began their education in 2004 at Munkkiniemi High School in Helsinki, Finland, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. After completing high school, they attended the University of Jyväskylä from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism. In 2012, they pursued exchange studies at Oslo and Akershus University College, specializing in Journalism. During the same year, Anniina also enrolled at the University of Oslo (UiO) and completed their Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Communication and Media Studies in 2014.
