Kai Nugen

Kai Nugen currently works in Firmwide Talent Acquisition at HOK since September 2023. Previously, Nugen served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Director/Sr. Director Recruiting at Capital One from April 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included acting as a partner and strategic advisor to hiring managers and executive leadership. Nugen also held the position of Manager - Attorney Recruiting at Morrison & Foerster LLP from July 2007 to March 2019, overseeing a team of recruiters for attorney recruitment processes, and previously managed lateral and summer associate recruitment at Bingham McCutchen from 2002 to 2007. Earlier career experience includes working as a Recruiting Coordinator at Wiley Rein LLP and as an Experienced Hire Recruiter at Arthur Andersen, in addition to serving as a Social Worker Assistant at Hillside Hospital. Nugen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University.
