Katherine Aikins

Katherine Aikins is a Sustainable Design Specialist at HOK since February 2024, specializing in ESG materiality assessments and managing LEED certification for various real estate projects. Previously, Katherine served as a Sustainability Consultant at XCO2, overseeing LEED and BREEAM certification projects and developing strategic sustainability plans. Earlier experience includes a role as Climate Change Impacts Researcher at the Zoological Society of London, where Katherine produced a significant report on climate impacts on the Great Barrier Reef. Additional roles encompass business development management, sustainability consulting for small businesses, and nonprofit management focusing on environmental conservation. Katherine holds an MSc in Environmental Science for Sustainability from King's College London and dual degrees in Psychology and Sustainability Studies from the University of Georgia.
