Maria Papacharalambous is a seasoned architect and project manager with extensive experience in diverse sectors, including education, civic, government, urban design, and resilience planning. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager at HOK since August 2018, Maria has also held senior roles at Waggonner & Ball Architecture/Environment since March 2004. Previous positions include Lead Designer and Project Manager at Perez, APC, and Project Designer at Integron Design, where notable accomplishments include designing projects in Africa and the Middle East. Maria began their career as an Architectural Intern at DMJM Design, focusing on correctional facilities. A Fulbright Scholar, Maria earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University from 1990 to 1995.
