Heliatrice Marques

Heliatrice Marques has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Heliatrice started their career as a Reporter at Abril Mídia in 2005 and then worked as an Intern at the Secretariat of International Relations in the City Hall of São Paulo from 2008 to 2009. From 2010 to 2014, Heliatrice worked as an Economic and Political Advisor at the Embassy of France in Brazil, where they assisted French companies in Brazil and managed a network of CEOs. In 2015, they joined the Earth Institute - Columbia University as a Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst, conducting evaluations and surveys related to sustainable development projects. In 2016, Heliatrice worked as a Graduate Consultant at USAID - Development Credit Authority, conducting analysis and promoting innovative financing for clean energy investments. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Coursera, first as a Business Development Associate and then as a Customer Success Manager. Currently, Heliatrice is the Director of Operations at Holberton School, where they oversee operations and manages global partnerships.

Heliatrice Marques has a diverse education history. In 2004, they completed an undergraduate degree in Journalism at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Heliatrice then pursued their interest in International Relations and Affairs and obtained an undergraduate degree in that field from the same university in 2009. In 2009, they participated in an exchange program at Sciences Po, where they focused on International/Global Studies. In 2012, Heliatrice completed a post-graduate latu sensu degree in International Trade at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. Their education continued at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where they earned their Master of International Affairs degree, emphasizing Economic and Political Development, from 2014 to 2016.
