Kevin Bretz

Kevin Bretz, P.E. has extensive experience in environmental, health, safety, and sustainability management. Kevin currently holds the position of Executive Director, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability at Holcim Building Envelope, where they previously served as the Environmental, Health Safety, and Sustainability Director. Prior to that, Kevin worked as the Environmental, Health Safety, and Sustainability Director at Firestone Building Products.

Before joining Holcim Building Envelope and Firestone Building Products, Kevin was the Environmental Director at LafargeHolcim in the US for four years. In this role, they provided expertise and leadership in the areas of air regulations and permitting, and ensured compliance to relevant regulations. Kevin also acted as a leader and liaison for safety at all facilities.

Kevin has also held positions at Lafarge North America and Coterie Environmental LLC, where they were responsible for environmental compliance and managing hazardous waste streams, respectively. Kevin started their career as a Chemical Engineer at RMT, where they developed sustainable EH&S compliance solutions for different sectors.

Prior to RMT, Kevin worked as a Project Engineer at Environex, Inc, assisting clients in the power industry with reducing operating costs associated with environmental compliance.

Kevin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in environmental, health, safety, and sustainability management, as well as their ability to ensure compliance with regulations and improve overall environmental performance.

Kevin Bretz, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. In 2022, they also completed the Business School for Emerging Leaders certification program at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School.
