Carla Assaf

Carla Assaf has extensive experience in the financial and auditing sectors. Carla currently serves as the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Unit at HOLDAL Group since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Supervisor at KPMG Lebanon from July 2021 to January 2022. Carla also gained valuable experience as a Supervisor External Auditor at BDO from March 2015 to July 2021. Carla started their career as a Junior External Auditor at DFK International from October 2013 to February 2015. Carla also worked as an Accountant at Bluefield Offshore SAL from March 2013 to September 2013. Additionally, Carla gained industry exposure through an internship at KPMG from September 2012 to February 2013.

Carla Assaf has a diverse education history spanning across various institutions and fields of study. In 1995, they attended Saint Joseph College, where they obtained a degree with high distinction in Economic and Sociology Sciences. After their successful completion at Saint Joseph College, Carla pursued a Bachelor degree in Accounting at Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) from 2009 to 2012.

In 2019, they took a brief period to further enhance their skill set by completing a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from ACCA. Currently, Carla is enrolled at the American University of Beirut, undertaking a Master of Science in Business Analytics program, which is expected to be completed by 2023.
