Alexey Chekalov

Alexey Chekalov is an experienced Chief Information Officer with a strong background in managing IT systems across various sectors, including hospitality and retail. Currently serving as CIO at Holiday Inn Express since October 2018, Alexey oversees IT operations within a hotel chain. Previously, at Sbarro from April 2017 to September 2018, Alexey played a pivotal role in the startup and relaunch of the Sbarro CIS franchise, developing extensive IT infrastructure for 150 restaurants and implementing various management systems. Earlier roles include Head of IT Department at Crystall LLC, IT Director at City Restaurants, and Head of IT Department at Crocs CIS LLC, demonstrating extensive expertise in IT operations, project management, and systems integration. Alexey holds a degree in Aviation Engines and Power Installations from МАТИ and has specialized training from Bauman Technological University.
