Alexey Batrakov

Alexey Batrakov is a Senior Backend Developer at Holidu since March 2023, previously serving as Team Lead at New Athena from September 2015 to May 2022. At New Athena, Alexey designed a new version of the company's main product using microservices architecture, focusing on reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Alexey also contributed as a Java Software Engineer, developing core and business modules for a financial system and integrating the Camunda BPM Engine to enhance business process execution. Notable achievements include creating a dynamic form builder in Vaadin, which significantly reduced development time, and a code generation tool for efficient EJB call replacements. Alexey holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Higher School of Economics, completed in 2017.
