Alain Foehn is an accomplished project manager specializing in hydraulic engineering and risk management at HOLINGER SA since June 2020, managing projects related to river revitalization and natural hazards. Previously, Alain Foehn worked as a scientific collaborator at CREALP, contributing to flood forecasting systems, and served as a doctoral assistant at EPFL, where a large research project in hydrology and geostatistics was managed, alongside publishing articles and presenting at conferences. Early experience includes collaborations with the Canton Valais Hydro-meteorological Watch and participation in various projects in hydrology and hydraulics. Alain Foehn holds a Doctorate, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from EPFL.
