Jovana Savanovic

Jovana Savanovic has diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Jovana currently works at Holistic AI as the Head of Operations and Planning since September 2022. Previously, they served as a Senior Advisor (External Engagement and Research Funding) from May 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Holistic AI, Jovana worked at UCL, where they held several positions. Jovana was a Partnership and Projects Manager from March 2020 to November 2020, and a Partnership Manager (Africa and the Middle East) from April 2019 to March 2020. Jovana also served as a Global Partnerships Officer (Europe) from February 2019 to April 2019.

Prior to UCL, Jovana worked at the Royal Veterinary College, U. of London as an International Coordinator from November 2015 to June 2016. Jovana also worked at the University of Surrey as an Enterprise Coordinator from October 2014 to November 2015.

In addition, Jovana gained research experience as a Research Assistant at EAIR (European Association for Higher Education Researchers) in July 2013 and as a Strategy Assistant at FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency from May 2013 to July 2013.

Jovana Savanovic completed their Bachelor of Social Science degree in Sociology and Organizational Psychology at the University of Ljubljana in 2011. Jovana then pursued a joint Master of Research and Innovation in Higher Education degree at Beijing Normal University and Tampere University, completing it in 2014. In 2020, Jovana attended the Oxford Women's Leadership Development Programme at the University of Oxford. From 2023 to 2024, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Artificial Intelligence for Business from the University of Oxford.
