Eric Chamberlin

Senior Vice President, Marine Services at Holland America Line

Eric Chamberlin has extensive work experience in marine services and strategic management. Eric started their career in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1984, where they served in various roles, including Chief of Response and Commanding Officer of the USCGC MELLON. In 2013, they joined Holland America Group, initially as Director of Systems Management and Program Development. Eric later moved up to Director of HESS Management System, where they oversaw the health, environmental, safety, and security policies for 41 cruise ships. Eric then served as Director of Fleet FOCUS, a team focused on improving shipboard and shoreside operations. In 2017, Eric became Vice President of Marine Services, and in 2019, they were promoted to Senior Vice President, leading the Marine Services Team in ensuring safe and environmentally sound marine operations for 41 ships.

Eric Chamberlin holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, which they earned from 1980 to 1984. Eric then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, completing it from 1990 to 1991. Later, they attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 2006-2007, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy.
