Amy McPherson is an accomplished mental health professional and researcher with extensive experience in clinical and academic settings. Currently serving as an Independent Contractor at Flourish Health Services and a Registered Psychotherapist at Talk Works Counselling & Psychotherapy, Amy also holds the position of Senior Scientist and Academic Co-Lead at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where responsibilities include leading clinically applied research and promoting evidence-informed practices. Concurrently, Amy serves as Interim Vice President and Director of the Bloorview Research Institute and as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, directing research on health and wellness for children with long-term conditions and disabilities. Amy's prior roles include Associate at Dr. Lisa Bradford & Associates and Lecturer in Behavioral Sciences at the University of Nottingham. Academic credentials include a PhD in Health Psychology from the University of Nottingham and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
