Geeta Thomas is an experienced human resources professional with a robust background in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Engagement at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since July 2019, Geeta has previously held leadership roles including Director of Human Resources at The Lung Association - Ontario and Decision Resources Group. Geeta possesses expertise in overseeing HR functions, advising on employee relations and conflict resolution, and managing compensation and talent management projects. Prior experience includes positions at Millennium Research Group, where Geeta established an employer brand and led training initiatives, as well as roles in recruitment and HR management at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. Geeta's educational background includes studies at The University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. Our vision is to create a world of possibility for kids with disability. We pioneer treatments, technologies, therapies and real-world programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life. Holland Bloorview serves about 7,000 children each year, with about 600 inpatient admissions and 52,000 outpatient visits. Holland Bloorview is a world-class teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. We train future health-care specialists in the field of childhood disability.
