Marilyn Ballantyne

Marilyn Ballantyne is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on child development and the care of preterm infants. Since October 2014, Marilyn has served as an Adjunct Scientist and Chief Nurse Executive/Clinician Investigator at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Prior to this role, Marilyn worked at McMaster University from September 2010 to September 2014 as an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the Advanced Neonatal Nursing (NP) Program. Marilyn's extensive clinical background includes serving as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Holland Bloorview from November 2013 to January 2014 and as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Pediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children from 1989 to 2010. Marilyn earned a PhD from the University of Toronto.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. Our vision is to create a world of possibility for kids with disability.
