Poppy Metherell

Poppy Metherell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Poppy started their career in 2016 as a Deckhand on the Sailing Yacht Atlantic. In 2017, they worked as a Gap Assistant at Glendower Preparatory School. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Teach First Brand Manager at Teach First and also worked as the Head of Sponsorship at Durham University Opera Ensemble. In 2018, they had a role at Compass Group as part of the team for the Royal Room Wimbledon Championships. Currently, they are employed at Holland Park School, where they have held multiple roles, including Teacher of Religious Education, Lead on PSHE, and currently serves as the Head of Religious Education.

Poppy Metherell completed their secondary education at Benenden School from 2009 to 2016. Poppy received their Bachelor's degree in Theology and Religion from Durham University from 2017 to 2020. Subsequently, from 2020 to 2021, they obtained a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) degree specializing in Secondary Religious Education from the University of Cambridge.
