Marc van der Zon

Marc van der Zon, CFA, currently serves as CIO and Head of Direct - Life Solutions at Hollard Insurance since February 2016, where additional business responsibilities were integrated into the CIO role. Previously, Marc held various leadership positions, including CIO of Life Solutions and Head of Digital and Data Science at Hollard, as well as Head of Analytics in the Central BI and Analytics team. Prior experience includes senior managerial roles in analytics and credit at Nedbank and Edcon, beginning with a risk and marketing analyst position at Capital One/Nedcor Alliance. Marc holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
