Omer Farukhi

Omer Farukhi has extensive legal experience, currently serving as an Attorney at Hollingsworth LLP since August 2007. Previously, Farukhi held the position of Fraud Surveillance Regulatory Analyst at FINRA for a brief period in late 2003 and worked as a Legal Assistant at K&L Gates from March 1999 to November 2003. In addition, Farukhi gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk in the Criminal Division's National Security Section at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia from June 2002 to June 2003, and as a Supervised Student Prosecutor at the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office from January to April 2003. Farukhi earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law between 2000 and 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Engineering with a focus on Finance from Lehigh University, completed in 1998. Education was initiated with a High School Diploma from Shady Side Academy in 1994.
