Susan Bessette

Susan Bessette is an experienced educator currently serving as an Itinerant Middle School Teacher for Physical Education at Hollister School District since August 2022. Prior to this role, Susan spent over two decades at the same district, where responsibilities included teaching 6th Grade Math and Science as well as serving as a Gifted and Talented Teacher at the Accelerated Achievement Academy, a school recognized with the California Distinguished School Award and ranked 6th in the State of California for academics. Additionally, Susan worked as an Uber driver from March 2018 to August 2020, which was described as a rewarding experience, and held the position of Director of Marketing and Finance at Daybreak Lesson Plans from June 2016 to July 2018, focusing on logistics and budgeting. Susan Bessette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Business Emphasis from UCLA and began education at San Diego State University.
