Marlin M Soliman is an experienced professional in the film and media industry with a focus on communication and event management. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Planning at the Hollywood Arab Film Festival since May 2022, Marlin has also provided consulting services as a Communication Skills Consultant and Coach since 2017. Recent roles include managing Souk Talks and Event Programs at the Red Sea Film Foundation in late 2024 and serving as a Guest Relations Consultant at various film festivals, including the Red Sea Film Festival Foundation. Previous experience includes positions as Grants Manager at the Global Film & Media Initiative and VIP Manager at the Red Sea Film Festival Foundation. Marlin has held significant roles such as Programming Manager at the ElGouna Film Festival and Head of Communications at the Cairo International Film Festival. Marlin M Soliman holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and Mass Communication from Anderson University.

Hollywood Arab Film Association - HAFA was founded in 2021 to take lead upon all the activities that enables bringing the Arab Cinema to the heart of Hollywood; thus launching the very first edition of Hollywood Arab Film Festival in April 2022. MISSION To promote inclusion and representation of North African and Arab filmmakers/artists in the American film and art industries by building their capacity through training, networking, and education. To promote cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in the United States of America through the arts and cultural institutions, by connecting people and building a more cohesive and open society. VISION To create a central platform for Arab and North African artists and filmmakers to showcase their unique cultural identity, while also serving as a launch pad for their careers by strengthening their skills and widening their exposure to the world. To educate Western audiences on Arabic film culture and advocate for Arab filmmakers' work within the American industry.
