William Derksen Cism

William Derksen has over 20 years of experience in the field of Information Security and Compliance. William has held various leadership roles, starting as a Technical Team Leader at First USA Bank in 1999, then moving on to Nationwide as a Manager of Midrange Systems and Electronic Messaging in 2001. In 2003, they joined CSC as the Head of Information Security and eventually became the Chief Information Security Officer until 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Security and Compliance at Holman, starting in 2014. William holds certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CISA.

William Derksen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco. William then pursued a Master's Degree in Cyber Assurance from the University of South Florida. In addition, they completed a Certificate in Telecommunications Engineering from UC Berkeley Extension.
