Sam Modica has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Systems/Capital Accountant at Australian Railway Group until 1997. Sam then moved on to Reading and Bates where they served as a Corporate Accountant from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2003, Sam worked at Transocean, starting as a Project Administrator and progressing to roles such as Finance Manager and Financial Controller Australasia. In 2003, they joined Ensco plc as a Finance and Administration Manager until 2006. From 2006 to 2015, Sam worked at Songa Offshore as a Finance Director and later as a General Manager. Following that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Bluewhale Offshore - CIMC Raffles from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Sam worked as a Consulting CFO at The CFO Centre Pty Ltd. Most recently, they served as Chief Financial Officer at PILBARA META MAYA GROUP OF COMPANIES from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Sam is the General Manager Finance/CFO at Holman Industries.
Sam Modica attended the CPA Australia Program from 1995 to 1997, where they studied the CPA program. In 2013, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Director Responsibilities from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
