Zach Stitz

Zach Stitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Zach started their career as a Water/Sewer Maintenance employee at Johnston Public Works in 2011 and continued until 2012. In this role, they maintained water valves, fire hydrants, water towers, sewage lines, and assisted in resolving system problems. Zach then joined McAninch Corporation as a Shop Maintenance worker from 2013 to 2014, where they transported parts and tools, performed welding repairs, and operated heavy machinery on job sites.

In 2014, Zach worked as an Underwriting Intern at EMC Insurance Companies, assisting with underwriting, claims, and loss control.

From 2012 to 2015, they worked at the University of Iowa Distribution Center as a Coordinator, supervising student employees and distributing orders of apparel and electronics to various university locations.

Finally, Zach joined Holmes Murphy & Associates in 2015 and has held multiple roles there. Zach started as an Account Manager and then transitioned to a Client Service Consultant. Currently, they serve as a Client Manager and Team Lead, responsible for managing client relationships and leading a team.

Zach Stitz has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance from the University of Iowa, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Zach also attended Des Moines Area Community College in 2012 for general education. Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications, including an Associate in Risk Management from The Institutes in March 2016 and a Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. in October 2015. Zach also has a pending certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter from The Institutes.
