Nic McLean

Nic McLean is an experienced educator with a strong background in English as an Additional Language (EAL) and learning support. Currently serving as a Learning Skills Support Teacher at Holmesglen, Nic supports students across various courses such as trades and VCAL. Previous roles include Language and Learning Advisor and Associate Lecturer at Charles Darwin University, as well as teaching positions at STEPS Group Australia and Chisholm Institute, focusing on EAL programs for young adults and refugees. Nic's extensive teaching experience spans over two decades, including significant roles at Melbourne Polytechnic and the Bachelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Studies, along with consulting work in Laos. Nic holds multiple qualifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Digital Learning and Teaching and a Graduate Diploma in Education, TESOL.
