Sam Duncan

Sam Duncan currently serves as the Dean of Higher Education and Applied Research at Holmesglen since October 2019, having previously held positions as Associate Dean and Course Leader for Sports Media and Sport Business Degrees. Additionally, Sam Duncan is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Sport Innovation Research Group at Swinburne University of Technology since September 2020. A prolific writer, Sam Duncan has contributed to various publications, including The New Daily, The Age, The Huffington Post Australia, and AFL Record, focusing on the intersection of sport, media, and society. Sam Duncan holds a PhD in Sport, Media, Society, and Culture from Swinburne University of Technology, where involvement in academic instruction in sports media began in 2015.
