Dan Newman, CPA, CGMA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dan started their career at EY in 1993, where they served as a Senior Manager in the Assurance & Advisory Business Services division. During their time at EY, they supervised audit teams, examined financial statements, and presented financial data to clients' board of directors.
In 2002, Dan joined 1/ST Technology - Xpressbet and AmTote International as Co-President, Chief Financial Officer, and Controller. Dan provided senior-level financial, operational, and strategic support for eight technology subsidiaries. Dan was responsible for financial operations, including planning, reporting, forecasting, and budget management.
Most recently, Dan held the role of Chief Administrative Officer at Holsinger, starting in 2021. In this position, they served as a strategic advisor to the partnership group and other key members of management. Dan managed various key company operations, including finance, HR, marketing, and IT. Dan also acted as the company's liaison with legal counsel, banks, insurance brokers, and other strategic vendors.
