Fritz Roegge has a diverse and extensive work experience. Fritz currently holds the positions of President of Holtec Government Services and Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Holtec International. Prior to this, they served as the President of the National Defense University from 2017 to 2021. Fritz also held significant leadership roles in the US Navy, including Commander of the US Pacific Submarine Force, Director of Total Force Manpower and Military Personnel Policy at the Navy Bureau of Personnel, Commander of Submarine Group EIGHT in US Naval Forces Europe and Africa, and Deputy Commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Global Strike at US Strategic Command. Additionally, they have served in various positions within the Joint Staff and was Commodore of Submarine Squadron 22 in Italy.

Fritz Roegge attended the U.S. Naval War College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned their MA degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. Prior to that, they attended The Catholic University of America from 1995 to 1996, obtaining an MS degree in Engineering Management. Fritz also holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, though the specific duration of that program is unknown.
