Joseph Rivera is an experienced computer science educator, currently teaching at Holton-Arms School since August 2022, and previously serving as a computer science teacher at Palmer Trinity School from August 2015 to August 2022. Rivera specializes in a variety of courses for grades 7-12, including robotics and AP Computer Science, utilizing programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Prior to this, Rivera worked as an adjunct instructor at Miami Dade College, teaching C++ and Microsoft Office applications, and held positions as a graduate and undergraduate research assistant at Florida International University. Rivera holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Florida International University.
