Jean Tress is an experienced church musician currently serving at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church since June 2020. Additionally, Jean operates Tress Piano Studio, a private music studio that has been active since 1972. Jean's prior experience includes a role as a General/Vocal Music Teacher in Harford County Public Schools and St. Johns Church from August 2003 to January 2014, culminating in a recently retired status from public school teaching. Jean also worked as an Elementary Music Teacher for grades K through 8 at the Archdiocese of Baltimore from August 1990 to June 2003. Jean holds a BA in Music Education from the College of Notre Dame University and an Advanced Professional Degree in English, with studies completed at Notre Dame of Maryland University between 1980 and 1984.
