Barbara Mitchell is an experienced educator and leader with a strong background in teaching and non-profit management. Currently serving as a 4th Grade Teacher at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since August 2019, Barbara previously taught 2nd Grade at Putnam City Public Schools from August 2017 to July 2019. Barbara also held significant leadership roles at Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma, first as Chief Operating Officer from April 2015 to April 2017 and earlier as Director of Product Sales from October 1999 to April 2015. Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities, Mild Mental Retardation, and Emotional Disturbances from the University of Oklahoma between 1975 and 1979.
