As the founder and Director of Deadline News from 2000 to 2014, Scott established a reputable name in Scottish journalism while maintaining high editorial standards. Earlier career roles include Assistant News Editor at The Daily Record and News Editor at Evening Chronicle. Scott's journalism journey began as a junior reporter at Evening News, where notable achievements included serving as a crime correspondent.
