Jose Lopez

Jose Lopez is a seasoned housing and operations specialist with extensive experience in managing complex client caseloads and departmental workflows. Currently serving as a Housing Specialist at HOM, Inc. since February 2023, Jose previously worked at the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, where roles included VASH Operations Specialist and Housing Choice Voucher Program Operations Supervisor. Responsibilities included providing exceptional customer service to over 500 veteran clients, managing a team of over twenty employees, and developing procedures to ensure timely processing of tenant-based vouchers. Additional experience includes positions with the Ohio Lottery Commission, Sterling BackCheck, and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, complemented by military service as a Motor Transportation Operator and Security Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Bryant & Stratton College.
