Veronica Charles

Veronica Charles, MPA, is a seasoned professional in government affairs and advocacy, currently serving as Senior Director of Federal and State Government Affairs at Maxim Healthcare Services since February 2021. In this role, Veronica leads federal government relations across 13 states for a major home and community-based service provider. Additionally, as a board member of the Home Care Association of America and co-chair of the Government Affairs Committee for ASCP, Veronica champions issues related to pharmacy and long-term care, oversees policy development, and engages with administration on regulatory changes. Previous experience includes roles with the U.S. Senate and the University of Nevada, Reno, where Veronica advocated for student interests and managed significant legislative efforts. Veronica holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy Analysis from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
