Katherine Swander

Katherine Swander has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Katherine began their career as a Team Member at Juice Budz in 2018 and later worked as a Video Editing Teaching Assistant at Harvard-Westlake School in 2019. Katherine also served as a Promotional Team Member for UBC Sororities in 2020.

In 2020, Katherine joined Aritzia as a Boutique Associate, where they excelled in delivering exceptional customer service and was given additional responsibilities in merchandising. Katherine also worked as a Marketing Manager at Juice Budz, creating engaging email content and managing social media accounts.

In 2021, Katherine became a Private Tutor, specializing in AP Economics, and helped a Grade 12 student achieve top grades in their class. Katherine also worked briefly as a Boutique Associate at Aritzia and as a Campus Director at Home From College, where they provided insights on product development and user experience.

In 2022, Katherine joined DocuSign as a Product Experience Operations Intern, where they developed a unique professional development program and presented their findings to key stakeholders. Katherine also worked as a Campus Team Lead at Bounced Inc., leading a team of campus representatives and spearheading event planning.

Most recently, Katherine joined I Have This Friend as a Client + Community Experience Manager in 2023. Overall, they have demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills throughout their career.

Katherine Swander began their education journey in 2015 at Harvard-Westlake School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2019. Katherine then enrolled at The University of British Columbia in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science, which is expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Katherine Swander also obtained a certification in Opioid Poisoning Awareness Workshop from the Canadian Red Cross in March 2021.
