Currently serving as the Head of Safety and Compliance at Home Group since 2014, David leads strategic initiatives in safety across various domains, including gas, renewable energy, and fire risk assessments. Previous roles at Home Group include Head of Maintenance and Head of Contract Management, focusing on repairs, maintenance activities, and ensuring legislative compliance. David's expertise also extends to procurement and supplier relationship management, with a notable track record of service improvement and value-for-money negotiations. Prior to joining Home Group, David held positions at Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council and various architectural firms, where foundational skills in building surveying and architectural design were developed.
