Liz Owusu

Liz Owusu possesses extensive experience in various roles focusing on safeguarding, client services, and animal-assisted interventions. Currently serving as a Volunteer at From Fear to Friend since May 2025, Liz supports children in overcoming their fear of dogs. As a Safeguarding Advisor at Croydon Action Guardians since September 2023, Liz is committed to promoting child safety. Liz's career includes significant positions at Home Group since 2007, including Regeneration Officer, Senior Client Services Manager, and Support Coordinator. Additionally, Liz contributed as a Trustee and Volunteer at Araba Scott Children's Foundation from October 2018 to August 2019. Academic qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Assisted Intervention from Stonebridge College (ongoing), a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counselling from the University of Surrey Roehampton, and studies at Metropolitan School of Business & Management.
