Shelby Allen is a seasoned professional in community outreach and engagement, currently serving as the Director of Outreach for Home of the Innocents since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Community Engagement Manager and Community Engagement Associate at Maryhurst from March 2022 to October 2024. Shelby has been involved with the Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council as a Community Associate and Facilitator from August 2018 to December 2022. Additional experience includes positions as Development Coordinator at Family & Children's Place and various internships at Bellarmine University, the Speed Art Museum, and Maryhurst. Shelby holds a Master of Business Administration in Business and Marketing and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing, both from Bellarmine University, following a high school diploma from Atherton High School.

Serving more than 10,000 children and their families last year, programs include residential and community-based clinical treatment services, crisis and intervention services, therapeutic foster care and adoption services, and a pediatric convalescent center for children living with complex medical conditions.
