Stephen Shannon is an experienced program manager currently serving at Home of the Innocents since June 2023. Previous roles include Unit Director at Boys and Girls Club of America from August 2018 to June 2023, and Teen Coordinator at Neighborhood House Louisville during the same period. Stephen also worked as a Special Education Teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools and held the position of Athletic Coordinator for Boys and Girls Clubs of America, both from February 2015 to June 2023. As CEO of Finessities, Stephen focused on fashion, community engagement, and mentoring from January 2014 to June 2023. Additional experience includes working as a Corp Member at City Year, Health and Wellness Coordinator at YMCA, and Media Staff at Saluki Media. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and further studies at George Mason University.

Serving more than 10,000 children and their families last year, programs include residential and community-based clinical treatment services, crisis and intervention services, therapeutic foster care and adoption services, and a pediatric convalescent center for children living with complex medical conditions.
