Daria Fitisova

Daria Fitisova is an experienced Data Scientist currently with Amazon Web Services (AWS) since December 2022 and has been with home24 SE since August 2016, focusing on credit risk and fraud detection. Daria specializes in the development of classification models using machine learning techniques such as XGBoost and CatBoost, model training with Python, Spark, and AWS services, and the automation of model-training pipelines in collaboration with data engineers through Airflow. Previously, Daria held various positions at Moscow State University, including Junior Data Scientist and Junior Researcher, contributing to survey design and quantitative analysis. Daria holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and has completed undergraduate studies in Sociology at Higher School of Economics.
