Arlene Yanover has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arlene started their career in 1998 as a Private Chef, where they developed menus, prepared meals, and executed special events for a family. From 2000 to 2015, they worked at the California School of Culinary Arts as a Chef Instructor and Purchasing Coordinator, focusing on curriculum alignment and recipe development. In 2004, Arlene launched their own Frozen Baby Food Company called Nummy Nums LLC, where they developed recipes and managed the team for package design, sales, and marketing. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Director of Research and Development for Edesia Enterprises & Simply Kale, leading the launch of healthy baked kale chips and scaling manufacturing. Arlene then worked at Munchery as a General Manager of Operations and a Purchasing Manager from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they were hired as the Director of Operations at Kettlebell Kitchen, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Arlene holds the position of Director Of Unit Management & Procurement at Homeboy Industries, where they also served as the Director of Food and Beverage from 2021 to 2022.

Arlene Yanover has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Arlene also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Kendall College The Culinary School.
